Kellog calling the leader "The Old Man" during the kidnapping and still calling him that after the Survivor is free is a clue.ĭr. Them just cloning the Real Shaun would not have worked because he couldnt have convinced the player character/Survivor of everything they wanted to so the leader was also cloned. The only certain thing is that the Zeta Aliens/Institute are using Synths to replace the Real Shaun just like they have done to so many others looking for the missing in the story.
